Sounds fair to me if it’s in good shape. If your friend is into manuals, I’d recommend looking for one, though. This is one of the only “normal” modern sedans that can be had with a stick, and I’d find it too hard to pass up.

Go 535i. Fuel economy is only slightly less (17 vs 18 city, 26 vs 28 highway - I often averaged 30mpg), but much more fun. And if your friend wants to upgrade later, they can easily get up to 400hp.

Last of the NA engines they made... feels underpowered. Get a 535i. You’ll pay more than the price difference getting the 3 stage intake.
